Inspect
Motors
Motors should be inspected yearly or anytime the system is serviced.
Items to check for on motors:
- Some motors require a few drops of oil yearly
- Motor needs to have amp draw checked
- Blower wheel should also be checked
- Air holes on motors should be free of lint (will overheat)
- Motors capacitor should be checked
Your airconditioners motor can last for years if properly serviced
yearly.
