Inspect Air Filters
Air filters are easy to check and you should do this your self every
one to three months. For some people a filter may last 3 months and
for others only a month.
It will depend on:
- How clean your house is
- If you have pets
- How well your house is sealed
- If you often have windows open
You may also want to change your filter or at least make sure it
is very clean before a service man arrives as he needs for the system
to have proper air flow when checking refrigerant levels.
Dirty filters are a common cause for service calls.
